Failure is planned for
Bypass, a redundant 300-watt power supply and two Smartfans: the 2512 deliberately has no single point of failure. The Ethernet bypass switches the data path through physically on a failure, so traffic keeps flowing even while the appliance restarts. The extra layer of protection for everyone for whom downtime is out of the question.
High load, many segments
Four 10-gigabit SFP+ ports, five GbE over copper, 16 cores and 32 GB of memory: the 2512 carries high bandwidth, many zones and deep inspection without becoming the bottleneck. A free NIC slot leaves room for more, for example four additional 10G ports.
The calm entry into demonstrable network security
NIS2 brings new obligations from 2026, also for smaller companies and their service providers. The AIMSTRONG-2512 is a controllable, solid basis for firewall, VPN and network segmentation. The legal assessment is handled together with our legal partner, so that technology becomes real security.
