Built for continuous operation in the data centre
A redundant power supply and five fans that can be swapped during operation keep the appliance running even if something fails. Via the integrated IPMI remote management it can be monitored and controlled from afar, with no trip to the server room.
Compute power and fibre to measure
An AMD EPYC with 16 cores and ECC memory brings the performance for compute-intensive security: deep inspection, many VPN tunnels and segments in parallel. Four 10G SFP+ uplinks are on board, and four NIC module slots keep connectivity open for whatever the data centre needs.

The AIMSTRONG-5310 runs AIMdefense, a security software developed in Germany and based on open source.
