Compatibility and coding
Every transceiver stores its identity in the EEPROM. Many vendors check that identity and reject foreign modules. We supply this module in the following codings:
- compatible with Allied Telesis AT-SP10TW1
- compatible with Dell DAC-SFP-10G-1M
- uncoded to MSA
The Dell coding also fits Broadcom NICs (for example BCM57412) in Dell servers.
